Mahjong at ko-ze Wine Room • Beginner Mahjong Basics
Join us! Mahjong is a centuries-old tile game that is steeped in history, art, and tradition, and will quickly become your newest obsession! Lisa from The Mahjong Guild will be on hand to teach you all the beginner basics: the tiles, the player card, how to deal, finding your best hand, and so much more! Enjoy a glass of wine while you get your mahj-on in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere!
Ticket includes:
- All mahjong game pieces, accessories, cards, and teaching aids available for use during the lesson
- One beverage of your choice from ko-ze wine room
- Light snacks provided
- Exclusive 20% off Oh My Mahjong products that evening for players for use at Bench492 (just down the street from ko-ze)

6:00 - 7:15pm • Brief history of mahjong, learn the tiles, objective of the game, learn about beginner hands
7:15 - 7:30pm • Refreshment break
7:30 - 8:30/9:00pm • Deal, Charleston, and game play
