Come along to this enjoyable class to explore the stitches, tools and techniques of lace knitting. You will learn knitting techniques that will help demystify lace and expand your skills, including: the fundamental lace stitches, lace increases and decreases, understanding lace charts & patterns, and tips & tricks used by experienced lace knitters.
Then discover how to unlock the beauty of your knitted lace by blocking - you'll be amazed! We'll have plenty of finished projects to look at in class so you can see how lace is used and then you can decide what your first lace project is going to be!
Whether you're starting with a specific pattern in mind or love the idea of knitting lace projects but don't know where to start, this workshop will guide and give you the skills and confidence you need to make some of the thousands of stunning and varied patterns incorporating lace.
