Beginner Knitting Course - Falkirk

Always wanted to learn how to knit? Join me for a Beginner Knitting Course in Falkirk! Over the course of four Tuesday evenings, you'll learn the basics of knitting from me: an experienced instructor and avid knitter. This is an in-person event, so you'll have the opportunity to get hands-on guidance as you start your knitting journey. This course will set you on the right path. Don't miss out - sign up today!
What to expect?
This in person knitting course, running for four Tuesday evenings (11th, 18th and 25th of March 2025 & 1st of April from 6:30- 8:30). Learning the how to do and decoding the technical stuff too. I'll take you from clueless to being able to knit your own cosy scarf! You'll feel confident to fix your own mistakes and be able to read a simple pattern too.
What will you get when you come along?
For a start one free pair of knitting needles and all the wool/yarn you'll need for the duration of the four classes. You'll be able to take home your knitting in between classes, so you can practice the practical skills you've learned each week.
Plenty of one-one help. The classes are limited to a maximum of 7 pupils, meaning you get plenty of access to my help during the sessions.
I've been knitting for 40 years and have been teaching art and craft sessions for at least seven years.

Info: How to do a knit stitch. Learning about knitting needles.

Info: Continuing the knit stitch. Basic pattern reading.
Week 3
Info: How to do a purl stitch. Exploring different yarns/ wools.
Week 4
Info: Cast on, Cast off. Fixing basic "errors".
