About this Event
You'll learn to care for a gluten-free sourdough starter. You'll get to name her, feed her, keep her warm and ultimately, use her for all she's worth. We'll walk through all the necessary tools to keep a gluten-free sourdough starter well-fed and happy. We'll talk about trouble-shooting and fixing things when they inevitably go wrong. You'll get to experience each step of taking your little baby starter from the jar to a nice, fluffy loaf of gluten-free bread. You might even have the confidence to try a few new recipes at home. We'll taste the bread, smell the starter and have a blast!
You'll take home all the tools you need for success (a $74.00 value) including two gluten-free sourdough starters, a finished sourdough loaf and one to be baked at home the following day. No need to bring anything unless you want to wear an apron. We'll have everything you need and a few refreshments as well.
