Enjoy the evening on the water as we kayak around Shawnee Mission Park Lake. Hear the croaks and splash of frogs, the hooting of owls, and view the park from a different perspective. Beginner Excursion starts with a safety briefing and instruction. Basic swimming skills required. Bring a flashlight. Meet at Shawnee Mission Park Marina. Dress for the weather. For more information 913-826-2800. Space is limited. Advance registration required. Kayak, paddle, life jacket, and headlamp use included during class. Kayaks have a max weight of 250 lbs.
