This course emphasizes drawing and painting from observation as the essential means by which the student understands the formal elements and how to apply them to their practice as beginner artists. Drawing is where to begin and continues to be a critical process throughout one’s art journey regardless of medium or genre. Each student is taught one-on-one which allows for personalized projects, focusing on drawing mediums or painting in acrylics or oils. A materials list is provided upon registration.
