We are hosting a 6 week Beginner Charleston lesson series from Sept 28th to Nov 9th, every Saturday afternoon except Thanksgiving weekend. Charleston is a fun and lively dance that is great for dancing to quicker music. With taps and kicks we'll have you back to the Roaring Twenties and Thirties. This is beginner friendly even if you have never done swing or partner dancing.When: Saturday afternoons from 2-3pm, Sept 28 - Nov 9 (excluding Oct 12 for Thanksgiving)
Where: Lower Level 5, 190 Wortley Road
Cost: $75 for the series or $15/class for drop-ins. For those who attended the June series, you're welcome to come back at $40 for the series, and we plan to cover Tandem Charleston in the later lessons.
Pre-Registration Bonus: $5 Discount if you send an e-transfer to: [email protected] by September 27th (11:59pm). This applies only to signing up for the entire series, for new or repeat students, and does not apply to drop-ins.
Other important info: You don't need to bring a partner - we will pair dancers up and encourage participants to rotate dance partners frequently throughout the class if they are comfortable doing so. Please bring comfy indoor shoes and a water bottle.
