This course does NOT INCLUDE pottery wheel instruction.
Learn the art of hand built pottery in this 4 week course. You will learn the basics of creating pottery (without the use of a pottery wheel) with slab-building, coil building and pinch-building techniques. Use a variety of hand tools and decorative stamps to create one of a kind pieces. Make as many pieces as you'd like and glaze them in the final class. We will also briefly cover mold pouring.
This class requires no previous experience and is great for all levels of skill! Choose from our large selection of projects, or bring your own ideas to life.
$160 per person for 2 hours of hands on instruction for 4 weeks. Price includes materials. 6 person maximum per class. Courses are non-refundable.
Must be 14 years old and have a guardian sign a waiver if under 18. Pieces will be available for pick up 3 weeks after your final class date. We will only hold them for up to 30 days.
Doors open 10 minutes before the start of class.
