What is Brioche? Other than a delicious sweet French bread it is also a striking knitting technique that makes a beautifully squishy, drapey fabric. Many designers include brioche in their patterns, and it has a reputation for being difficult, but Linda will break it down and simplify it for you in this class. If you know how to knit and purl you will be able to learn brioche! In this class, you will work on a brioche sampler that you can continue working on at home after class to make a scarf. You will start with simple one-colour brioche and progress to two-colour brioche while also learning how to increase and decrease in brioche.
The class is hands-on and practical, and there will be plenty of time for questions and group discussion in class.
Skill level: Suitable for advanced beginners. Knitters who are comfortable with casting on, knit and purl stitches and knitting in the round will enjoy this class.
