Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly workshop learning the basics of the three most popular swing dances: Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag! Each hour we’ll cover some of the basic moves and techniques of each style, creating a firm foundation in each dance. Dancers are free to choose different dance roles (lead/follow) in each style, or stick to one role.**No dance experience or partner required!!

Wondering what role to dance? Partner dancing has a Lead and Follow.
- The Lead/Leader is the person suggesting the moves and rhythms by initiating their follower's momentum.
- The Follow/Follower is the person who completes the moves and shapes within the rhythm suggested by the leader, often adding styling and rhythmic variations to beautify the overall movement.
