Love doing swing but want to learn that dance they do to fast music? Have learnt a little bit of Balboa but feel you haven’t quite got it comfortably yet? Want to learn Balboa however hasn’t been on a night you’re free? Or whatever the reason… great news we now run beginner Balboa classes on a Monday night!!!Next term of Balboa is starting MONDAY 7th April.
Teachers…
Trish and Derek!!!! For those of you who don’t know Trish and Derek they are simply absolutely beautiful Balboa dancers. They’ve been dancing and teaching Bal for years, have learnt from the greats, won numerous Bal competitions and are competition Balboa judges (they were judges at last years Australian Swing Dance competition that’s part of SLX)
Class times are…
7.00pm - 7.55pm beginners
8.00pm - 8.55pm intermediate/experienced
The venue…
Newtown Neighbourhood Centre has a fabulous polished wooden floor (bit like St Luke’s), is air conditioned and is a lovely size space.

To get a feel for location it’s only a few steps from Kung St… around the corner from the Botany View Hotel.
Getting there…
Most nights there’s street parking in Darley St and King St.
It’s a 5 minutes walk down King St from Newtown station (walk towards the chimney stacks however don’t go that far!)
Payment…
Classes are $20 per person per class, or $70 for a 4 class pass.
We take cash or card in class.
No partner??? No problem! You can come on your own or with a partner.
