Befriending Mortality

Mike Coughlin, Dharma Leader with Napa Valley Insight Meditation and Certified Mindfulness Facilitator, will be leading this four week class series beginning on Thursday, Jan 16th. The series will take place weekly, on Thursday evenings, from 7:00 - 8:30pm and will conclude on Thursday, Feb 6th. Although attendance at all four sessions is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Attending one, two or three times is fine. Although the classes build on each other, they will also function independently. This series is suitable for those who are new to, or experienced with, mindfulness and/or meditation.

This immersive and interactive offering will explore the Buddhist concept of Mindfulness of Death. The series will weave together both classic and contemporary approaches for leaning into, and possibly fully embracing, the essence of life's impermanence. Let's embrace the idea of mortality together and learn how to live more fully in the present. This event is a great opportunity to connect with others and deepen your understanding of the cycle of life. Don't miss out on this unique experience!
