A century ago, long before Lincoln Hills Golf Club was established, Michigan National Guard troops, along with their tents, artillery, guns, and horses, used this site as their annual training ground. Mason County Historical Society President James Jensen brings this presentation to life, reviewing these encampments and the many associated local activities using historic photos, newspaper accounts, and documents from the Mason County Historical Society archives.This event, hosted by the Ludington AAUW, is FREE and open to the public!
