Courses will be taught by Jana Jedlovska and Zoey Gould who both bring 25+ years of experience and learned from many of the OGs.
Beginner Level 1.0 Lindy Hop
This class will build a solid foundation for students who are new to Lindy Hop. No experience is required, and no partner is needed.
Dates: Sundays October 6, 20, 27 and November 3, 10
Time: 5pm – 6pm
Level 1.5 Lindy Hop & Charleston
For students with some basic Lindy Hop experience who want to take their dancing to the next level. Prerequisites include some experience with swingouts and 8-count Lindy Hop. No partner required.
Dates: Sundays October 6, 20, 27 and November 3, 10
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Level 2.0 Tandem Charleston
This is a three-week progressive course for Intermediate dancers. Material includes tandem Charleston entrance(s) and exit, basic variations (e.g. point, yo-yo, half turn), and intermediate variations (shadow, etc.). Prerequisites include side-by-side Charleston, familiarity with 8-count Lindy Hop, and a minimum of 6 months social dancing experience. No partner required.
Dates: Sundays October 20, 27 and November 3
Time: 4pm – 5pm
COST:
Lindy Hop:
Before September 20th $100 for 5 classes; $165 for both courses
After September 20th $120 for 5 classes; $185 for both courses
Charleston:
Before September 20th $65 for 3 classes
After September 20th $75 for 3 classes
*discount available for Full-time Students/Seniors/Underemployed.
