River City Band
Founded in 2008, with the current lineup starting in 2012, River City Band has been picking bluegrass and acoustic music all over Richmond and Virginia. Sharing a common love of bluegrass and belt buckles, Jesse Spencer mandolin/vocals, Grant Hunnicutt guitar/vocals/, Trevor Spencer banjo and Chris Rea Bass Fiddle, have been entertaining audiences with traditional bluegrass, Grateful Dead covers, blues numbers and original tunes. Be sure to check them out a local establishment near you.
Beers and banjos is a FREE happy hour concert from 6-8pm on the 1st, 3rd (and 5th) Fridays of each month at The Camel. Tickets ARE NOT required for admission. Limited table reservations are available in advance, but not required for attendance. Reserved tables will be held until 6:30pm and are non-refundable. Additional seating available at the bar.
