Beer Mug Workshop

Bring your creativity to the newest pottery workshop at Hugger Mugger Brewing, where you will be creating your very own, custom beer mug! Local Art Teacher, Andrew Wells, will be there to show you the simple steps, guide creativity and give helpful feedback throughout the process. The steps are easy to follow and understand, so no previous experience with pottery is required.

The first event day is Feb 15th from 3 to 5 and will be for building the mugs with clay. We will create the basic shape, add details with sculpting or carving and add handles. Andrew will guide you through a demonstration and walking around giving feedback. After that, the clay needs time to dry and be fired in the kiln before they are glazed.

The glaze day will be Feb. 23rd from 3 to 5 and this is when you will paint your mug with the provided colors. You could paint intricate detail or paint the whole thing with 1 to 3 colors to keep it simple, it's all up to you!

One ticket purchase is good for both workshops and 2 drinks. You will receive a drink ticket per night that you can redeem for a beverage! Come alone or bring friends!
