Join us for a workshop on the basic principles of beekeeping, caring for your bees, hive health and maintenance. We will see different types of beehives, learn where to source new bees, how to harvest honey & process wax, how to install a nuc, and discuss ways to keep our valley's bees healthy!
Kay has many years of professional beekeeping experience in Hawaii and on the mainland, and is an active beekeeper in the North Fork Valley.
Mark has been keeping bees for over 30 years. He grows many different varieties of produce, flowers and herbs that provide food for the bees all season long.
