This isn't your average degustation dinner; it's an evening dedicated to celebrating all things beef, featuring seven carefully crafted courses that showcase the exceptional quality and flavour of Queensland’s own Stanbroke beef.

Every bite tells a story of sustainability, and during dinner, you'll have the privilege of hearing directly from James Barrett, a Stanbroke Foods representative. He'll share the rich history, visionary ethos, and distinctive difference of their Queensland-bred and raised beef.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What do I need to bring with me?

Queensland Parliament House is a working parliament, as such strict security procedures are in place. All attendees must provide valid photo ID upon entry to the precinct.

What time should I arrive?

The Lucinda Bar will be open from 6:00pm for pre-dinner drinks, and dinner service will begin at 6:30pm. Registration will commence at 6:00pm. Please allow sufficient time for registration and security screening. After registering, a Parliamentary staff member will guide guests to the Lucinda Bar for pre-dinner drinks.

How do I find the Strangers’ Restaurant?

Guests must enter the Parliamentary Precinct via the Parliamentary Annexe, located on Alice St. For security reasons, guests are not permitted to leave the Annexe foyer area without an escort. A member of staff will collect guests from the foyer of the Parliamentary Annexe and escort them to the Strangers’ Restaurant.

What are my parking options during the event?

Guests arriving by car may access limited visitor car parks. We don’t reserve parks for after-hours functions, we have a first in policy.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is smart casual.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, your ticket is not needed as guest names and contact details must be submitted during the ticket purchase process. These names will be included on our attendee list and checked against your photo ID when you arrive.

What is the refund policy?

We are more than happy to refund purchased tickets until 7 days prior to the event. Guests who wish to cancel their tickets within 7 days (but prior to 48 hours before event) are able to transfer to another event. No refunds or transfers are available within 48 hours of the event.
