BEECON 2025: The First NYC Beekeeping ConferenceThe New York Bee Club is proud to present BEECON 2025, our inaugural citywide beekeeping conference, an afternoon dedicated to learning, connection, and celebrating the vibrant world of bees in New York City.
This year’s program features Kevin Inglin, host of the Beekeeper’s Corner podcast, showcasing his favorite beekeeping gadgets and tools that make managing hives easier, smarter, and more efficient. We’ll also hear from Sarah Kornbluth, entomologist and educator at the American Museum of Natural History, as she explores the fascinating world of urban pollinators and their role in our city’s ecosystem.
Attendees can then join one of several breakout sessions, including talks on preventing and managing swarms, building native bee habitats, and identifying and dealing with wasps and hornets in the apiary.
Whether you’re a beekeeper, a gardener, or just bee-curious, BEECON 2025 offers something for everyone, from practical know-how to big-picture inspiration on supporting pollinators in the city.
🐝 Bonus: The first 50 registrations to check in at BEECON will receive a free limited-edition commemorative enamel pin, made exclusively for our first-ever conference!
