About this Event
As part of this years North East Food & Wine Festival (NEFWF), four Beechworth vignerons will be running a chardonnay masterclass on a Sunday October 27. Sharing two of their chardonnay each, the vigneron will take you through each wine, whilst you’re snacking on seasonal, local dishes by Ploughmans, in Wodonga.
NEFWF is a celebration of food and wine, and is presented by Wodonga Council with the aim to excite and inspire you with local and seasonal produce.
If you or your friends are chardonnay lovers, we'd love to invite you for an afternoon of wine and snacks, all whilst hearing from the winemakers how each special wine was made. You'll be shown eight (8) wines, being two chardonnay from each of the four vignerons, pefectly matched with one of Ploughmans' abundant artisanal platters to share - or enjoy to yourself!
A wine masterclass to explore local, premium chardonnay; allowing you to take a deeper dive into why Beechworth chardonnay is some of this countries finest. Hearing it straight from the vignerons themselves, you have the afternoon to ask all of your curly chardonnay questions!

- When: Sunday October 27, 2024
- Venue: Ploughmans, 118 Hovell Street, Wodonga
- Time: 01:50pm welcome, with the masterclass kicking off officially from 02:00pm. Guests to leave by 03:30pm.
- Menu: Local, and seasonal snacks, paired with eight Beechworth Chardonnay.
We recommend not driving home from this event and suggest having a designated driver, or other means to travel to your next destination. As the amount of wine served over the afternoon will be more than 1.5 standard drinks per hour, it would not be safe for you to drive a vehicle.
