Come out and join the Friends of Waterloo Park and the Pollinator Working Group in a fun celebration of bees on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10 am to noon. At this event guests can make paper flowers, bee masks, participate in a flower scavenger hunt and learn more about native pollinators. We will also have live music by violinist, Luisa Maria Suarez Perez! Recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University, Luisa is an enthusiastic violinist who seeks to share her music so that it reaches more people and everyone can have a great time. Luisa is from Mexico, with extensive musical preparation in both orchestras and ensembles. From classical songs to folk music, she seeks to share music, which for her is a universal language that everyone can enjoy.
Activities will take place in the vicinity of the Young parking lot on the eastside of Waterloo Park.
Please note photography will take place at this event. The event will be cancelled if there is severe weather (heavy rain/wind or thunderstorms).
