About this Event
The SCAD Men's and Women's tennis teams offer Tennis fans a special opportunity to play alongside the Bees in a day of fun competition! At the Bee-Am, sponsored by Coca-Cola, entrants are paired with current SCAD Tennis players in a mixed doubles, round-robin format. Players of all ability levels take the courts at the Bacon Park Tennis Facility in Savannah to show off their skills. Proceeds benefit the SCAD - Bees men’s and women’s tennis programs to help the Bees compete at a championship level!
- What: Annual SCAD Tennis Pro-Am
- When: Saturday, Feb. 15th, 2025 @ 1:30 p.m.
- Where: Bacon Park Tennis Courts, 6262 Skidaway Rd, Savannah, GA 31406
Format: Round-robin event; entrants paired with SCAD players in a mixed-doubles format; Players guaranteed a minimum of three matches.
- What to Bring: Racquet and proper attire.
- Price: $40 per person (includes snacks, beverages, and a t-shirt).

I hereby agree that for the sole consideration of SCAD allowing me to participate in athletic activities for which or in connection with which the college sponsored or made available any equipment, facilities, grounds, or personnel for such activities or to the undersigned, do hereby WAIVE, RELEASE AND DISCHARGE THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY SYSTEM OF GEORGIA AND SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN, including their employees, officers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, rights, or liabilities for personal injury or damages of any kind, EXCEPT THAT WHICH IS THE RESULT OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN, arising from any injuries, damage of property, and the consequences thereof, including death, resulting, from my participation in any way connected with such athletic activities. I AGREE NOT TO SUE the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, SCAD, or any of their officials, officers, agents, or employees for any of the claims or liabilities that I have waived, released, or discharged herein. I agree that this Release and Waiver of Liability shall be binding upon me and I consent to have this Release and Waiver of Liability governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. I (or parent/guardian if under 18 years of age) assume all medical responsibility for any injuries sustained while participating in any athletic activities. *
