Four couples, three bedrooms, one night (and the next morning). This pacy and well observed play by the acclaimed Ayckbourn stands the test of time. Malcolm and Kate are hosting a housewarming and have invited several friends including Jan & Nick and Susannah & Trevor; this is somewhat complicated by the romantic history of Jan and Trevor - something his parents Delia and Ernest reflect on whilst preparing to go out for their anniversary dinner. During the course of the evening, nothing quite goes to plan, bringing insecurities and emotions to the surface with moving and amusing consequences.
