Shortly after moving to Toronto from Dartmouth in late 2001, Andrew made an appearance on Open Mic with Mike Bullard. After winning the Laugh Resort’s funniest person with a day job competition in Toronto, Andrew was invited to perform at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has since performed at the Halifax Comedy Fest, on Much Music’s hit show, Video on Trial and has his own half hour special that aired nationally on CTV and the Comedy Network. Andrew's sharp and often biting observations will have you laughing at him, at yourself and at the world around you.
CLARE BELFORD
Clare Belford is a comedian and a very nice person. Born and raised in the most blue collar parts of oil-country Alberta, she cut her teeth early on by forcibly telling deeply personal jokes about womanhood to drunk tradesmen. Nowadays she is a veritable fixture of Canadian comedy.
Clare has performed at festivals including Just For Laughs, the New York Comedy Festival, the Halifax Comedy Festival and she appears on CBC’s New Wave of Stand Up. She writes for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and her debut album, The Entire Cabbage, plays regularly on SiriusXM and was named one of the Best of 2021 by Bullseye on NPR.
CHRIS HALEF
Belfords own Chris Halef is an Assyrian-Canadian comedian based out of Halifax and in just a few short years, he's become a crowd favourite.
He's a regular at Yuk Yuks and has performed at the prestigious Halifax Comedy Festival, as well as, throughout Atlantic Canada. Chris' comedy is a great mix of conversational-style jokes and storytelling, tackling many subjects like his Middle Eastern heritage, relationships and his family.
He recently recorded a comedy mixtape with several of Halifax's best up-and-coming comedians, which is expected to be released in 2023
