Bedford Avenue Corridor Improvements - Public Information Meeting

The City of Lynchburg will host an informational meeting for citizens to learn about the proposed improvements as part of the Bedford Avenue Corridor Improvements Project. The public can drop in anytime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Golf Park Coffee Co. at 2306 Bedford Avenue, to talk with City officials and the project team about the proposed improvements.
The Bedford Avenue Corridor Improvements Project will introduce significant pedestrian upgrades and traffic-calming measures along Bedford Avenue between Rivermont Avenue and Hawes Street. As ongoing redevelopment transforms this area into a more pedestrian-intensive corridor, these safety and accessibility enhancements will help create a more walkable, welcoming, and connected community space.
