Becoming Barbra is a brand-new theatrical spectacular that fuses lip sync, live singing, choreography, and theatre into a single one-woman drag extravaganza! From humble beginnings in the Toronto Village to a mid-pandemic move to The Rock, Barbra Bardot’s star is burning bright and soaring far. Eventually, she finds herself busier than ever, between landing the lead role in her favourite musical and fulfilling her dream of opening the city’s first drag bar. But when the pressures of hustle culture and the realities of running a business show their face, can she persevere for the sake of her community?
