Becoming a Leader of Leaders in the mining and resources industry

The Young Mining Professionals Perth are excited to launch their first event for the year and the first part of their Leadership series, "Becoming a Leader of Leaders", focussing on the journey of mid-level managers and leaders moving into first-time Executive roles. YMP Perth will host a panel of esteemed speakers featuring Sally Langer, Felicity Gooding, Tony Chong and Sébastien Leboeuf, to discuss their journeys to "becoming a leader of leaders".

Details: The role of leaders of leaders is frequently overlooked within organisations, partly due to the assumption that there is minimal distinction between leading others and leading leaders. This misconception can impede companies in executing their business strategies and goals and hinder the development of a robust pipeline of capable leaders.

This event will feature a panel of speakers, who will delve into the pre-requisites for becoming a "leader of leaders" and share their personal career journeys, strategies for advancing into leadership roles and methods for standing out in a professional landscape and how to progress towards established goals and to utilise feedback effectively.
