Become a Water Hero this World Water Day

We at Kent Water Purification Systems are excited to invite your family to a fun and meaningful event to celebrate World Water Day.

What’s happening?

A Drawing & Awareness Competition for children aged 8 to 14 years, where they’ll creatively show why every drop counts.

Two age groups:

8 to 10 years &

11 to 14 years

Date: Sunday, March 16, 2025

Venue: Community Room A, Glen Abbey Community Centre, 1415 Third Line, Oakville, L6M 3G2

Time: 3 PM - 5 PM

Event Highlights:

• Be a Water Hero - Every Drop Counts - Kids will present their artwork — and we’ll record their thoughts on video.
• Colors and materials will be provided at the venue (no watercolors). You’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like.
• Fun Water Quiz (with prizes!) for kids & parents.
• Every participant gets a Water Hero Certificate.
• Winners from each age group will get a prize and will be featured on our Instagram page on World Water Day (March 22).

Important Note: This is a community event, and we will capture photos and videos of children and parents participating. These may be shared on our official social media handles to promote water awareness and showcase this wonderful event.
