Certification Steps
1. Register for the November 30th Instructor Course.
2. Complete Instructor Essentials online.
3. Attend the live training (6 PM ET).
4. Pass your instructor monitoring session.
5. Begin teaching BLS & Heartsaver courses independently!

**Do I need teaching experience?**
No prior teaching experience is needed. We’ll show you exactly how to run your first class confidently.
**Can I set my own class prices?**
Yes. Once certified, you may independently set rates for your classes.
**When will I receive my certification?**
After completing Instructor Essentials, attending the live session, and passing your monitoring, you’ll be officially certified and added to AHA’s Instructor Network.
**Are refunds available?**
Due to limited seating and access to course materials, all sales are final. However, you may transfer to a future class once with 72-hour notice.
