The kids get to do it, now the grown-ups can too!Last year, over 700 fifth-graders participated in the annual “Beauty of Bronze” program, educating students the art of sculpture and offering them the chance to make their own. This year, the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is thrilled to offer a chance for adults to experience this exciting art program!
On Thursday, March 27, from 6:30-8:30 PM, professional sculptors will guide students into creating their own bronze sculpture. This two-hour class will be a relaxing opportunity to create art, learn a new skill, and support a child's education.
This class costs $90, which includes a beverage (beer, wine, or soda), art materials, and sponsorship for a 5th-grade student.
Students will be able to take their creation home after its done casting in a local foundry. Pre-registration is required due to limited seating.
