A professional makeup artist demonstrates basic makeup techniques that participants can use for both everyday looks and special occasions (e.g., Tips on how to present oneself confidently in various civic settings, such as town hall meetings, protests, or volunteering).
Participants pair up to practice the techniques demonstrated, with guidance from the makeup artist. There will be a Discussion on how personal image and self-presentation can influence perceptions in public and civic spaces.
