Four years ago the plants along the street at Charles Lewis III Memorial Park were wiped out. It's time to bring them back! The plants will not only improve the aesthetics of the park, they will also minimize soil erosion and prevent debris from entering storm drains that lead to the ocean.Volunteers will be digging holes and planting drought tolerant plants along the curb. The curb is protected from the street by a bike lane and parked cars.
