Come and join us on Tuesday 9th September 2025 at Maggio Lounge, 50 High Street, Billericay for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our Beautiful Barn Owl under the expert instruction of our workshop leader Sophie.No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.
We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.
This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm. The bar carries a full range of drinks. Please do not bring you own.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).
As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar.
The venue does not have a car park but the High Street Car Park (behind Iceland) is free after 6pm.
Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.
We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us at the start of the event if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
