About this Event
Learn how to grow a variety of beautiful, edible spinach that you can enjoy year-round. These are superfoods that you can use in salads, wraps, stir fry, and soups and stews. The neighbors will never even know you are growing food in your landscape (but if you’re kind enough to share your bounty with them, we guarantee they’ll want to know your tips and tricks!).
Melissa Goltermann of Momma G Farms will share everything you need to know to start growing your own beautiful and edible spinach. She will also be bringing display plants for you to see and sample.
This program is presented by Melissa Goltermann and is hosted by the Winter Park Health Foundation.
About the Presenter:
Melissa Goltermann started her healing journey after 10 years of being on pain management due to a serious car accident. She found the Medic*tion was only masking her symptoms and she searched for ways to heal her body. Coming off the Medic*tion was not easy, and her body is still healing. Moringa was the first thing she used to help in her healing journey. Her mission is to educate others on how plants can be a part of a healthy healing diet. She offers free classes to children and adults at her not-for-profit food forest farm Momma G Farms, located in Eustis, Florida.
