Beaumaris Goal is a popular location for ghost hunters due to its rich history as a prison and the associated stories of paranormal activity. The goal was built in 1829 and was known for its harsh conditions, executions and deaths. These, as you can imagine, contribute to its reputation as a haunted location.
HISTORY.
Beaumaris Goal was a working prison from opening in 1829 until 1878 when it closed due to the centralization of the jail management.
The Goal later served as a police station and a children’s clinic before becoming a museum in 1974.
HAUNTED REPUTATION.
The goal’s history of harsh conditions and executions has led to reports of paranormal activity, making it a popular destination for ghost hunters at the goal who are seeking to experience or document potential paranormal phenomena.
PARNORMAL INVESTIGATION.
The Warrens, prominent figures in ghost hunting, helped popularise the field through their investigations and media appearances, potentially increasing interest in locations like Beaumaris Goal.
MUSEUM.
The building now functions as a museum, allowing visitors to explore the goal's history and potentially witness or learn about reported paranormal activity.
DEAD HAUNTED UK went to Beaumaris Goal and did a team event in 2023 and the team were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were aware that we were not alone at the Goal. We had noises in cells that we knew were empty. We won’t spoil it for you but I can tell you that this is one location you really want to do EVP’s at. Next time you see the team ask them what they got - from the Wardens office, to the dining room and even the nursery. Rooms all had something to reveal.
What secrets will you uncover, good old fashioned investigations are called for here, calling out, EVP’s Estes experiments and more. This is one investigation you do not want to miss out on.
