So, the third Thursday of November (at precisely 12.01am!) of each year signify the arrival of Beaujolais Nouveau as the first wines are available for the 2025 vintage, just 6-8 weeks after harvesting the grapes!!This occasion in the past was a huge event, with crazy (ok, mostly brits) wino's driving through the night to be the first to bring back their vinous bounty into the UK. It was a golden age for Beaujolais Nouveau, BUT such was the demand quality was rarely high!
Nowadays, as the whole circus of this event has become much less practised the quality levels have risen meteorically!
So, on November 20th we will be hosting a very relaxing tasting iof THIS YEARS wine and our package will include a bottle of nouveau and cheese for two people, for just £25!! Note the earlier times to suit a post work gathering but be assured that finishing time is flexible (depending on demand!).
We already have a good level of take-up so please let us know if you would like to reserve a table, and to make sure we have enough wine!!
