Welcome to Beaujolais Nouveau at Bottles Wine Bar!
Every third Thursday in November brings the release of the very special Beaujolais Nouveau, a stunning wine made from Gamay grapes, fermented for only a few weeks before being bottled and sold all over the world. This very special Vin de Primeur has inspired years of distributors racing to get the first bottles of wine secured and served to their customers.
Over at Bottles join us for a very special 'knees up' celebration of this wonderful tradition and be one of the first to try this year's Beaujolais Nouveau!
We've got quite the evening in store for you;
Arrive to a taste of France with a complimentary glass of Champagne and a bite of some homemade Ardennes paté to wet the appetite.
Take your seats and relax as we take care of everything for you, our sommeliers will be on hand to talk you through this years harvest and resulting Beaujolais as well as some other mouth watering examples of the wines of Beaujolais on hand for you to try!
Your main meal will consist of a sharing platter of various skillet cooked skewers paired perfectly with dipping sauces and of course this years Nouveau.
All the while sink into the sounds of France with our live accordian player, who will be providing some beautiful lilting French classics for your listening delights!
To finish the evening what better than a French cheese board and another taste of that Vin de Primeur!
All of this for just £40 a head!? A food, wine and funfilled evening, a casual affair for the Wine expert and novice alike. See you there!
