I am once again co-tutoring this lovely residential summer school for voices and historical instruments, alongside David Hatcher and other wonderful musicians.This is the third year the course has run as Malvern College, with its large and airy spaces for group rehearsals.
As the choral specialist tutor, I will lead daily a cappella rehearsals with the choir, as well as mixed ensembles plus the famous all-comers evening sessions!
This course is particularly renowned for the quality of its early wind contingent, which enables the programming of ambitious polychoral music from the later 16th and 17th centuries. The choir-only repertoire will span the period 1500-1650. (Once the choral music list is finalised, I'll post it.)
