About this Event

Save the Harbor/Save the Bay's Beats On The Beach Block Party is happening Friday, August 16th at the Channelside Site from 5:30-9:30pm. The Beats On The Beach Block Party is a collaborative community art celebration organized in collaboration with local artists to put money in the hands of POC creatives and bring folks down to Boston's waterfront. There will be exciting live performances by a mixture of up and coming and well-known artists, as well as a vibrant art mart featuring local vendors.


LOCATION: The Block Party is hosted in the heart of Fort Point along the channel. You may enter from 45 Binford St., the harborwalk, or Necco St. Pedestrian access to the famous harborwalk lets you experience the wonders of the channel at sunset. There is FREE PARKING available to all attendees – enter from 45 Binford St.


LINEUP: WHY TRI, stashthewave, CalvinKleinCaterpillar, Mercet, l.ucas, and DJ Troy Frost


ART-MART: 50 local vendors selling art, pottery, clothes, jewlery, crafts, soaps, and more!!


BEVERAGES: Free gold lead tea, VitaminWater, and SmartWater at our OAISIS STATION available for all attendees. Low-price drink tickets sold to those who are 21+ will get you access to Tito's Handmade Vodka's specialty mixed drinks.


DOGS WELCOME!!! Bring your dog down to the waterfront, and experience Polkadog's FREE treat bar, as well as Tito's dog-engraving station.


SOBER SPACE: grounding space provided by NamaStay sober, featuring a palmtree art installation from local artists Carolyn Lewenberg, Eileen Reistra, and Tanairi Garcia Vega.


LAWN GAMES: cornhole, ladder ball, and more!!
