About this Event
Join us at Beats for the Blues, a music and mental wellness festival dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing and fostering community connections. This event features live performances from local artists including The Midnight Feats, Michigan Water, CMYK, Ross Knight, and Nick Blow.
In addition to the music, the festival will offer mental health wellness talks with engaging Q&A panels, speakers from UBX Wollongong, Choice Mental Health, Top Blokes Foundation, and more.
Beats for the Blues is designed for individuals experiencing mental health challenges, their support networks, and those looking to deepen their understanding of personal wellness. Through interactive workshops and open discussions, attendees will gain valuable insights into managing mental health and nurturing community wellness.
Please Note: While kids are welcome, this event is recommended for those aged 16+ due to the sensitive nature of some topics discussed in the panel sessions and by guest speakers. Under 18s must be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian.
Proudly funded by Culture Bank Wollongong.
