Welcome to **Beats and Eats Saturdays with Mellow Jazz Vibes by Alan Green** at miXt Food Hall near Brentwood, Hyattsville, and Mount Rainier, Maryland! Get ready to groove to the cool jazz tunes of one man band, Alan Green every second Saturday evening of the month. Join us for an evening of great music, friendly folks, delicious food from any of our four vendors (including vegan options), and delectable cocktails and mocktails from our bar. Not to mention our brand new $5 rail shots special from 6-10 PM.

Alan Green is a multi/instrumentalist who performs as a Saxophonist or as a One-Man-Band. He has been performing before live audiences for over 30 years. Originally from New Orleans, the Birthplace of Jazz, he now resides in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
As a One-Man-Band he also performs on Keyboards and Flutes in addition to Tenor, Alto, and Soprano Saxes. Over the years Alan has performed at various festivals such as The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as well as before noted dignitaries and officials such as the Vice President of The United States.
Details for parking: We have a small garage attached to the building, which opens onto 39th street. There is additional free parking across the street and down the block at the community lot BEHIND the Bunker Hill Fire Station at 3716 Rhode Island Ave.
