Do you have a favourite Beatrix Potter story? Did you know that early editions of the tales written by Beatrix Potter live on the shelves of the Parkwood Library? These books are well loved, and extensively thumbed through. Adelaide would sit in spaces reading the adventures of the animals aloud to her daughters.Radio Days: Parkwood Players will present four of Beatrix Potter’s well -loved tales during our read aloud weekend.
The young at heart and all ages, are invited to hear stories that the McLaughlin Girls loved in four of the mansion spaces.
Read Aloud tours will depart at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm.
Stories being told:
The Tale of Peter Rabbit
The Tale of Mrs. Tiggywinkle
The Tale of Jeremy Fisher
The Tale of Ginger & Pickles
All attendees require a ticket.
$22 per person
This program is not recommended for those 6 years and under. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
