About this Event
Originals² kicks off on December 2nd at Art Basel with the launch of the new ‘Party Mode’ feature on the Beatport DJ app, optimized for touchscreen on Surface. Beatport LINK and Surface will connect Jamie Jones at Art Basel in Miami, and Loco Dice in Berlin to perform a world’s first remote back-to-back set on the Beatport DJ app.
Miami’s event will take place at the 1 Hotel Beach Club in Miami Beach, featuring beautiful views of the ocean on the sandy strip. Berlin’s performance location will be announced soon. The juxtaposing locations will be brought together to viewers online through the virtual back and forth between Jamie Jones and Loco Dice; DJs who embody the ethos of the Surface brand narrative, Original by design.

As an attendee of this event you agree to accept the following terms:
Age Restrictions: This event is solely for attendees aged 21 or above. Attendees that do not meet this requirement will not be permitted.
Proof of ID: All attendees will be required to provide proof of ID in the form of a passport or other forms of acceptable ID (such as a government issued ID), subject to the hotel’s final approval.
Covid Restrictions: At the time of this event, the city of Miami does not require proof of vaccinations and so attendees will not be required to present this information. As the organiser of this event Beatport and its sponsors, including Microsoft accept no liability for illness whether or not it occurs during or after the event. The attendees acknowledge and accept that they will be responsible and take due care.
General Liability: Beatport and its sponsors, including Microsoft accept no liability for any claims, including without limitation personal injury, illness, damages, losses or death resulting from or in connection with attendees participating in the event (“Occurrences”) except where such is prevented by law. Attendees of the event accept and acknowledge that they release Beatport and its sponsors, including Microsoft from the Occurrences.
Tickets: The tickets will be made available on a first come first served basis. Please arrive early. When the venue reaches capacity no further entry will be permitted to the event. The tickets to this event are non-transferable and only registered attendees will be permitted.
Filming Notice: By attending the event attendees consent and agree to being filmed and recorded on camera by the organiser Beatport. Attendees expressly grant to Beatport and its sponsors, including Microsoft all rights to use and exploit the recordings via any means throughout the world in perpetuity. Attendees waive all rights and interests to the recordings, including without limitation the right to exploit all intellectual property rights and moral rights. Attendees accept that they have been fully informed prior to attending the event.
Changes: The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event without providing notice to the attendees.
