We’re back with the October edition of Beatfreaq — Spooky Beats! 🎃👻
This is the monthly showcase for producers, artists, and hip hop heads who live and breathe the culture. Each month we celebrate the art of music-making and the people behind the sound — the producers.

You can expect everything from hip hop, soul, R&B, house, alternative, reggae, afrobeat, and more. At the heart of it all, Beatfreaq is about the producer — because producers are the backbone of all music.

And this lineup? 🔥 Straight incredible:

• ESPECT – The maestro, from New York by way of Florida. His indigent productions are mesmerizing.
• Ruthless – Spitter and MC from Durham, making her Charlotte debut. Pure energy and bars.
• Westtopher – From the legendary Mercenaries. His work spans major-label releases to underground gems.
• Jeck Da General – All the way from Virginia. The boom bap ambassador, constantly on the road spreading the sound.
• Heaven Sent (aka Big O) – One of the most versatile, dope producers out of Charlotte. A true favorite.

At the end of the event we’re opening up the stage! If you rap, sing, or make beats — bring your music (hard drive, USB, or phone). This is your shot to rock the crowd and possibly get picked to perform at a future Beatfreaq. Bring your best.
