Beat the winter blues by visiting the Chimczuk Museum on Saturday, January 25, 2025 for a fun-filled day of family-friendly activities. This year, we’re celebrating everything hockey in anticipation of a new hockey themed exhibit opening in February 2025! The list of activities includes:
• Guided hockey themed craft in our Children’s Gallery at 11am.
• Windsor’s Inaugural Multicultural Community Storyteller, Teajai Travis, will get visitors moving with drumming and storytelling at 12pm.
• Local author and sports columnist Bob Duff will be providing a talk about the history of hockey in Windsor at 1pm.
• The Museum will be screening "The Mighty Ducks" at 2pm. There will also be What’s Poppin’ popcorn and beverages available for purchase.
• Special “blue table” sale in the Museum Gift Shop on select holiday items.
• Best of all, there will be free admission to the Chimczuk Museum & Art Windsor-Essex! In lieu of an admission fee, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the Windsor Youth Centre.
• Looking for more to do? Venture to the François Baby House (254 Pitt Street West) for an animal-themed Lego scavenger hunt and win a small prize.
