Claraty's musical journey began with a foundation in classical music, where she developed her skills as a violinist, pianist and singer. This training provided the canvas for her to explore and innovate within the electronic music landscape.
Her sound is a unique fusion of influences from electronic bass, acoustic singer-songwriter, soul, hip-hop, deep house, and sacred medicine music. Claraty's compositions weave together diverse musical elements into a sonic tapestry that is uniquely her own. Her tracks are a testament to the boundless possibilities of electronic music, where every beat tells a story.
Claraty's music has taken her around the world, gracing ecstatic dances, festivals, ceremonies and unique private events. Her sets are transformative experiences that ignite feelings of heart opening, freedom, truth, bliss, joy, sensuality, deep connection, and a profound link to the source of it all.

Guidelines
-VOICES on the dance floor: The dance floor is a talk-free zone. This allows dancers to engage in movement as a meditation, to go within, and to be more embodied without distraction in proximity.
-VOICES off the dance floor: We have created a tea lounge and chill space off the dance floor and quiet voices are encouraged in order to engage with others in a different way when you're not dancing.
-SHOELESS: We ask that you are shoeless in the space. If you have a physical reason to wear shoes, you are welcome to - we simply ask that they are not shoes you wear on the street.
-RESPECT: Be respectful of yourself, of others, and of the space/venue.
-PHONES: the dance floor and chill spaces are phone free zones. This allows dancers to be present fully.
Beat Church was started in San Francisco in the early 2000s by the amazing DJ, Neptune, who saw a need for a new cutting edge underground dance offering.
We want to continue and build on that tradition here in Asheville for the existing vibrant dance community.
