Join York’s Hidden History this February half-term for a hands-on journey into a world of animals, myths, and natural wonders, inspired by the bestiaries (books of beasts) made in medieval York.
At Holgate Windmill, we'll use fossils, archaeology, natural history, and our imagination, to make a very special 21st Century book of beasts. Whether you're a poet or a palaeontologist, an artist or an archaeologist, we'll happily make use of your skills! The activities are pitched at children aged 6 and upwards, but are suitable for pretty much everyone to enjoy.
No need to book - free entry for children and regular windmill entry fee for adults.
