Beast of the Brazos - Open Water Swim (750 meter, 1.2, & 2.4 miles)

The Beast of the Brazos, an open-water swim event in Waco, TX, celebrates its 6th anniversary with 750 meter, 1.2 and 2.4-mile routes, with the two longer distances mirroring a full IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 Waco courses. All registered participants will receive a swim cap, dri-fit shirt, and finisher’s medal.

Wetsuit classification is only relevant for determining the top 3 tiered age group for male and female awards. If you register for wetsuit, but decide to change into non wetsuit the morning of, there's no consequences, but please let us know! You just won't be able to qualify for a top 3 tiered age group awards.
*If water temperature is above 90 degrees then the course will be abbreviated for safety reasons.
All proceeds from this race will benefit the non-profit and 501(c)(3), The Greater Waco Sports Commission, which is devoted to providing opportunities to enhance the lives of those living in Waco and McLennan County through sport and exercise.
