Bears in Town is the creative vision of Logan, Utah native Nathan Van Wie. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of genres and eras, Nathan weaves together a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly original. His influences span the soulful improvisations of jazz legends like Pat Metheny, the intricate energy of classic rock pioneers such as Rush, the layered harmonies of folk storytellers like Fleet Foxes, and the intimate lyricism of indie artists including Andy Shauf.
Over the years, Bears in Town has released several records, each exploring new musical landscapes while staying rooted in Nathan’s signature blend of technical artistry and heartfelt storytelling.
