About this Event
What is Ecstatic Dance?

Welcome Ecstatic Dancers!

You are warmly invited to come dance with us, during the winter we'll be inside and during the summer we'll go outside, you'll put on a pair of freshly cleaned, supplied headphones and have a silent disco either indoors or in the garden.

With Ecstatic Dance we get out of the head thinking process and we allow the free movement of our bodies to transform our natural energy flow.

Dance is a part of every human, there is no such thing as “I can’t dance”. We all can, we just move in different ways, there is no right or wrong. All expressions of dance are welcome whilst always respecting your fellow dancer!

You will be listening to incredible live DJ set, a sound journey around the world, facilitated and guided by Sarah to bring you into your body. We begin with shaking medicine before moving into the heart of the dance and allow the waves of music to dance you. Then you are invited to lie down and relax whilst you listen to deeply soothing music, the fully cycle complete; movement, release, growth and stillness.

Venue: Lower Hardres Village Hall

A beautiful barn style hall with secluded gardens and plenty of parking. Please aim to arrive about 10 minutes early to register, receive your headphones and get yourself settled in.

Who is Bearfoot?

Sarah is DJ Bearfoot the name gifted to her during a Shamanic Journey. Sarah has loved dancing since she was 5 years old going to several dance classes weekly until she was 13… then it wasn’t cool anymore!

The urge to dance was still strong and its here that the Club scene was discovered and enjoyed thoroughly! Dancing didn’t stop even when Sarah travelled around the world, she just swapped clubbing for dancing in nature on beaches and in forests wherever the music played.

During these travels and over the last 20 years Sarah became an established Yoga teacher, Shamanic Healing Practitoner, Reiki Teacher, Nutritionist, Thai Yoga Masseur, Workshop and Retreat facilitator and now a full circle back to music and Dance. Through lockdowns Sarah completed training as an Ecstatic Dance facilitator and DJ.....oh and of course mother of 2 beautiful humans.
